Are you really expected to change your routine of fast food and couch lounging overnight? Not exactly- the easiest, most successful transition stressed by health experts is a gradual approach to implementing your new healthy lifestyle.

To start down the path towards healthy living, remember these tips and take it at your own pace. Before you know it, you'll be one of those "healthy achievers" you used to envy!

" Start your day with a tasty breakfast- its not a myth, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Your mind and body will get a jump-start that lasts throughout the day!

" Eat regular meals- skipping meals can lead to out-of-control hunger.

" Know your diet pitfalls- track your progress for a few days and identify any weaknesses.

" If you have weaknesses for certain "unhealthy" foods, don't make yourself miserable trying to eliminate them from your diet, allow yourself a small portion to satisfy the craving.

" Focus on the worthwhile benefits such as, increased energy and confidence, more restful sleep, and stress reduction.

" Enjoy a variety of nutrient-rich foods. Eating healthy does not have to be boring!
